Viridis is proud to announce that we achieved carbon neutrality for 2023.
In partnership with The Climate Registry, we conducted a detailed assessment to accurately measure our Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions. Beyond just measuring, we took proactive steps to offset our 2023 footprint while working on reducing emissions for 2024.
To achieve this, we teamed up with BEF to identify the most impactful project for our offsets. Together, we chose the Rio Grande Valley Landfill project (CAR512) in Texas, which captures and reduces landfill gas emissions. This initiative reflects our commitment to meaningful climate action and a sustainable future. While we’re a small firm, we believe it’s important to uphold our commitments through action and understand what it will take to reduce emissions.
