Viridis Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering client successes. The Project Manager will possess a strong business acumen, a passion for working on initiatives that lead toward a clean, greener world and an entrepreneurial spirit seeking new, creative solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and delivering project deliverables as defined by the client’s scope of work. In addition, the ideal candidate drives the project process by focusing on meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). This requires defining an approach that ties the client’s business objectives, through requirements, design, delivery and continuous improvement, resulting in enhanced customer experience and business results being realized. At the end of the day, Project Managers at Viridis Consulting know that the work they’re leading is making a difference in the client’s business and the earth. The qualified candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment; be comfortable with tight deadlines; able to juggle multiple tasks at once; work individually and with teams; proactively identify tasks; strive for excellence continually aiming to raise the bar; and possess a high level of professionalism.

• Work Location: Remote, work from home. If located in the Los Angeles area, optional shared work space is available in Pasadena, CA.
• Reports to: President of Company
• Time commitment: This is a full-time role where life-work balance is a priority. We will establish a consistent schedule that meets your personal needs.
• Compensation: Highly competitive and scaled to client project needs and your experience and talents. Underpaying is a thing of the past.
• Title: Depending on experience, the role may be Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.

Education: 

• College graduate from a top-ranked institution. Record of academic excellence (3.7+ GPA). Preference for a graduate degree in business, engineering, or an analytical-related major. 

Experience:  

• 2-5 years of relevant experience as a project manager 
• Sustainability, clean energy or energy efficiency programs experience is valued but not necessary 
• Successful track record of working on complex, multi-partner projects  
• In-depth understanding of project management best practices 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the organization, from non-technical people through highly technical engineering/development roles to translating business value to executive leaders 
• Demonstrated ability to build effective internal and external relationships and influence people
