Viridis Consulting was founded by Mabell Garcia Paine. Mabell brings twenty years of experience in the energy industry having worked for Southern California Gas Company and energy management consulting and implementation firms such as ICF and Willdan Energy Solutions.
Mabell is an experienced business development, market/product strategist and project manager who possesses strong leadership, organization, team building and communication skills.
Ms. Paine has worked effectively with a spectrum of diverse teaming partners and subject matter experts to deliver potential studies, identify markets, develop clean energy program and technology solutions, refine a delivery plan and establish performance standards.
Ms. Paine is the Los Angeles Team Lead for the Association of Women in Water, Energy and Environment (AWWEE), serves on the Decarbonization Committee for USGBC-LA and the Underserved Customers Working Group for the CA Energy Efficiency Coordinating Committee. Mabell, her husband Tony and their two children live in Pasadena, California.
Doug is a 36-year utility industry leader with successful experience implementing change across diverse stakeholder groups resulting in enhanced operating efficiency, cost savings, customer satisfaction, and goal achievement. His expertise in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and his proven analytical capabilities enable successful planning, program implementation, project management, and problem solving across multiple departments and organizations. Through his many years of experience, Doug has worked across a variety of subject areas in the energy industry including benchmarking, market research, regulatory affairs, and strategic planning. He utilizes his excellent communication skills as well as his broad experience and connections across the energy industry to provide timely and cost-efficient delivery of client engagements.
Elisa is a creative, collaborative and innovative coach and consultant with successful experience driving change and meaningful results in the energy industry. She has more than 20 years of leadership experience in program, project and contract management for energy efficiency and distributed generation programs. Her areas of expertise include change management and leadership development, program management, and portfolio and contract management. Elisa’s excellent verbal and written communication skills make her an influential relationship manager proficient at building strategic alliances with internal and external partners to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Jacqueline is inquisitive by nature and passionate about solving climate change. She brings 25 years of successful experience as a leading strategist for distributed energy resources and as a climate tech entrepreneur. Her areas of expertise include energy efficiency, renewable generation, demand response, and other distributed energy resources. A utility veteran, she has successfully created data informed, innovative alternatives for cost effective regulatory compliance to manage changing environments. Her work has resulted in clean energy initiatives and new business opportunities to address societal issues. In service to her local community, she worked with a non-profit organization to develop programs for underserved small businesses to help them survive the pandemic. She enjoys doing puzzles, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Kristine is an adaptable, creative, and synergetic project manager with 2+ years of experience driving the development and execution of project plans, generating solutions, and optimizing processes. She is an expert at approaching every challenge with a design thinking process and commits to an iterative process to reach innovative solutions. She thrives in cross-functional, collaborative teams with the ability to contribute expertise, listen empathetically, and communicate clearly. She possesses an interdisciplinary background with a degree in Sustainable Environmental Design and a minor in Geospatial Information Science and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley. In her free time, she enjoys exploring hiking trails and learning new skills and hobbies.
Raphaëlle has an analytical and problem-solving mindset and strives to scale businesses that bring positive change. She has a dual training in Engineering and Business Management with a focus in entrepreneurship and business development. With experience in program management, she is able to develop the project strategy and vision while understanding the technical details of each step. She thrives in highly technical environments, as her skills in clarifying complex situations and providing concise and clear communication are key. She is a people person who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Her curiosity led her to discover new countries and cultures during her studies. She loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, hiking and all sorts of activities!
Aidan is a graduate of Regis University in Denver where he majored in accounting and finance. Aidan brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to Viridis’ portfolio of projects and overall brings a love of solving problems. The team knows he’s our go-to person for Excel formulas! In his free time Aidan is an avid rock climber and an entrepreneur who buys and sells kicks.
